Welcome graphic

I have been shooting with a Nikon Coolpix 995 for several years. I've taken some amazing shots with it, as well as some real stinkers where I just can't figure out what happened.  It's time to really learn the camera (before I move up to the DSLR's).

My grandson is one of my favorite subjects. I loved the soft intermingled colors of this shot.

I think the soft blur adds to the dreamy scene.

The glare in this family hijinx shot had me thinking that the shot was ruined until I realized it added a bit of the supernatural to the dueling fish competition. (Disclaimer: These fish were our dinner that night and were already gone when I took the picture.)
